First things first:
My name is Jeremy Owen, and I like to make images with my camera. I’m an engineer by trade, so this is my outlet to display the sliver of creativity I think I have. I hope you enjoy this site as I experiment with different facets of photography.
For all the photo-geeks (yes, I’m one too!):
All images on this site were created using digital capture. In addition, I use various software tools to “develop” each image. In particular I am heavily addicted (think crack-level addiction) to Adobe Lightroom (v1.3.1) and occasionally use Adobe Photoshop CS2 for more complex development (layer masks, etc.). Maybe one these days I’ll get my Yashicamat 124 TLR fixed, and I’ll actually expose some film (I honestly think it’s been nearly seven years since I’ve had a roll of film developed).
My “Kit”:
Canon EOS 40D
Canon 17-40mm f/4L lens
Canon 70-200mm f/4L lens
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 digital point and shoot
Manfrotto 3001 BPRO w/ 486 RC2 ballhead
Macbook 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM
(Ok, enough geeking out already!)
